Technology Recycling

As soon as you buy that computer you realize that there is already something bigger and faster out there. But what happens to all those old machines? We take old computers, desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, keyboards, speakers and the like and breathe new life into them. Our goal is to take orphaned equipment and put it in the hands of those who need it. Here is a brief list of where we look to place our recycled machines.

  • Nursing Homes - Crisis Centers
  • Community Centers - Retirement Communities
  • Missionaries - Ministry Organizations

Let us know if you have any equipment or funds you would like to donate and we can make arrangements to pick it up.

Donated Equipment Requirements
  • IBM Compatible (Windows PC)
  • Pentium CPU or equivelant or higher
  • Working condition or with known problem
  • Please consider including software (Operating System, Licenses, etc.)
  • Monitors: 15" or greater
  • Working inkjet and laser printers, memory, scanners, speakers, keyboard and mice.

Please do not include:

  • computers with 486 or less processors
  • computers with unknown, fatal problems (newer systems with major problems can be accepted for parts)
  • dot-matrix printers
  • broken keyboards, mice, monitors, printers, etc. (not possible or too expensive repair)
  • MAC/Apple computers (unless it good, working condition. We may in the future accept these machines, but as of today, we do not have the technicians to evaluate and repair them.
Don't meet the requirements?

It isn't that we wish to offend your generous offer. We have found that it is too expensive to dispose of unusable computer systems properly. For every 10 donated computers, we are able to get on average 3 reliable systems to place with needy ministries and groups so we already have a burden from the usable equipment we receive.

Computers are considered hazardous waste and need to be disposed of properly. Please consider contacting one of the organizations below to locate a recycling center near you.
