Evangeltech, as many businesses and ministries do, started as an idea. I was a pastor, with his first computer, wondering how, now that playing solitare was getting old, I could use this tool for something more productive.

While at seminary, and serving a church in rural Kentucky, I found there was a great desire to use technology in ministry, but no one knew where to start. I worked as a computer technician, building, repairing and selling computers. I also worked as an support tech for Hewlett-Packard computers. Both of these opportunities gave me the chance to help people work out their frustrations with technology and show them how to unlock the possibilities of what this new world could do for them.

I found that I had a unique gift in that I not only understood technology but I also knew how to help others apply it to and enhance their ministry. I began helping churches develop websites, students and faculty obtain, maintain and upgrade computers, printers and software. I prayerfully considered how I could use my gifts and talents in a more organized and deliberate way. Evangeltech was born. As the way technology can be used in ministry began to grow and become more accessible Evangeltech grew into the business/ministry it is today.

Now Evangeltech is helping Christians around the world by supporting them in their ministry and helping them serve the Kingdom of God all over the globe. We help missionaries in the Russian far east keep in touch with their supporters, use tools to share the gospel and share their ministry with others without having to leave the mission field. Evangeltech provides pastors and churches with the tools they need to better communicate the Good News with their members and those they serve. We help people to understand technology and develop a plan for using it to enhance their work and find a vision for how technology can be used as a tool in their ministry. Evangeltech provides experience with technology and a deep understanding of your ministry and how the two can help to make what you do better.
